We kicked off our technology use this year by using an app on the iPads called Tellagami. With this app, the students created an animated version of themselves and recorded a little bit of information to tell about them. You can download this app for free if you'd like!

{Bridging Friendships}

The Twosies loved completing our Bridge Unit! We spent time this week learning about the history of bridges and 5 different types of bridges. We kept track of our learning in a booklet where we drew a sketch of the bridge and listed some facts. Each page also included a fun fact of the either the longest, oldest, or tallest bridge of its type. The Twosies couldn't wait for Friday where they would get to try out their engineering skills on a bridge of their own!

{Peanut Butter & Jelly}

The Twosies go together like Peanut Butter & Jelly!

This week we spent some time learning about one another and talking about how we all bring different strengths to the classroom. I'm so excited about the little family that is beginning to form and am eager to see how we begin to use our relationships to build one another up!

We learned how peanuts grow and also how to make peanut butter. On Friday, we wrote about how to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Then we actually made them with a friend and shared a special snack together!
