We had some fun experimenting with Peeps for Easter!
First we looked to see what would happen when we put Peeps in different liquids.
We discovered that water took the color and caused the Peep to expand.
Soda actually deflated the Peep a bit.
Vinegar caused the Peep to disintegrate into a bunch of little pieces!
Then we put the Peeps in the microwave!!!
(We REALLY like to put things in the microwave in our classroom!)
The heat filled the air bubbles within the Peep and caused it to expand about three times its size!
How cool is that?
We would like to thank the Peeps for sacrificing themselves in the name of Science!
